Christopher DiPreta specializes and controls the organizational and daily operations of the property management company.

Born and raised in Connecticut, Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 from the University of Hartford. Upon graduation he worked in Aerospace engineering, until 2014 when he decided to pursue real estate full time. In 2012, he and Brian Desfosses started D&D Home Innovations and flipped their first property in 2013. In 2015 they expanded to purchase rental property. The two performed a lot of the general contract work themselves while hiring licensed contractors for the HVAC, electrical and plumbing work. Although a slower process, than contracting everything out, it helped them gain insider knowledge on what it takes to renovate properties and ultimately lead to a higher profit when selling.

Chris later partnered with Brian Barbosa and together they started buying, renovating and holding investment real estate, specifically focusing on residential multi-family real estate in central Connecticut. In 2016, Chris, Brian Barbosa, and Brian Desfosses partnered to create what is now known as Glenstone.

Chris obtained his Connecticut Real Estate Salesperson License in 2019. Since 2015, Chris has been involved in over 300 real estate transactions, currently owns over 100 units throughout Connecticut, and is a co-founder of Glenstone Management & Real Estate Services which provides Property Management, Real Estate Brokerage, and Lending Services. Chris oversees the property management side of the business. He built a strong team consisting of leasing, financing, maintenance, and property manager professionals. Chris closely works with the leasing team to make sure all tenants meet the requirements of their property owners. Operationally, Chris has created efficient systems in Appfolio to decrease vacancy between tenants – from scheduling move outs, and coordinating turnovers with our handy men, to getting the unit occupied, and rent collected. Chris has also trained his finance team on accounts receivable, accounts payable and providing owners insightful monthly reports. Since Chris is an investor himself, he is always looking for ways to improve the business.

When he’s not working, Chris is frequently visiting new restaurants in CT as well as his tried and true favorites. He and his wife have two daughters.
